Short-Term Administrative Support (Contracted Position)
Location: Farmington Hills, MI (Onsite)

About the Firm:
We are a multi-state law firm based in Farmington Hills, MI, seeking short-term administrative support within our Administration Department for a 2 - 6 week period. This contracted position may transition to a full-time role based on performance and availability.

The Administration Department plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of legal documents, consumer correspondence, and client media. The department is responsible for managing centralized printing, scanning, mailroom operations, and client media functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and prioritize daily tasks across the following areas:
    • Printing and scanning operations.
    • Mailroom operations, handling both incoming and outgoing mail.
    • Client media import/export operations.
    • Reception desk management and delivery coordination.
  • Provide backup support to office staff by assisting with mailroom and media operations, including handling incoming/outgoing mail, data input, scanning, and copier tasks.
  • Conduct deliveries and pick-up of packages and mail from the post office or other designated locations, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking abilities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with copying, scanning machines, and scanners.
  • Team-oriented and willing to provide support wherever needed.

Employment Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time, onsite in Farmington Hills, MI.
  • Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour.
  • Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday.
