Pre-Judgment Department Supervisor – Retail Litigation
Location: Farmington Hills, MI (Onsite)
About the Firm:
We are a law firm based in Farmington Hills, Michigan, specializing in Consumer and Commercial Collections. We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager for our Pre-Judgment Department in Retail Litigation. This position is ideal for candidates with prior leadership experience and a strong interest in legal work. The Supervisor will oversee various tasks, including document preparation, case docket review, inventory management, and process development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the Pre-Judgment Department.
- Oversee document preparation, case docket reviews, and inventory management.
- Identify, analyze, and solve problems both independently and within a team environment.
- Assist in the development and improvement of department processes.
- Ensure the department meets its high-volume, deadline-driven goals.
- Maintain strong communication with team members, ensuring clarity on tasks and responsibilities.

Degree and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework is preferred.
- Professional office experience is preferred.
- Proven leadership experience is required.
- Experience with project deadlines and working in both independent and team settings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Attendance:
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Ability to work regular business hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
